Since 2019, a team of experts from the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Bitola (FTSB) is part of the 4-year project in the H2020 top research and innovation program. They are partners in the TRINITY project.
In the video, the Faculty of Technical Sciences -Bitola (FTSB) team explains its specific tasks. FTSB is developing a platform called T-RES, with main goals: optimization and most profitable selection of RES locations in the region, forecast of RES generation, operation, and control of RES. In the framework of this software platform, FTSB team has a task to develop a software module for the assessment of technical possibilities for integration of RES in specific locations of the transmission networks in the region of South East Europe.
Besides, they explain that five scientific papers have been published as part of TRINITY. The papers are the result of research on short-term power load forecast in the power system of North Macedonia based on algorithms of artificial intelligence and machine learning, such as Neural Networks, K-nearest neighbors, Decision Trees, etc.
